Department of Visual Art Education

The education period of the Department of Art Education is 4 years. The language of education is Turkish. Students are admitted to the department with a special talent exam. In the department, besides compulsory education and culture courses and elective courses, painting, graphics, sculpture, and art workshop courses are given. The purpose of the department; To educate a Visual Arts teacher equipped with contemporary knowledge. 1 Professor in the department. In the department, besides field courses, there are compulsory education and culture courses and elective courses. In the Department of Visual Art Education, Painting, Graphics and Sculpture, Main Workshop courses are given. There are 1 Sculpture, 1 Graphic, 3 Pictures, 1 Visual Communication, 1 Computer Laboratory, 1 Traditional Craft, 2 Basic Design, 1 Pattern and 1 Perspective Workshop in the building.

During the academic year, academic staff, art educators and students exhibitions take place in the corridors of the building where the department is located.

In addition, undergraduate students can benefit from Erasmus Student Exchange Program in accordance with the agreements made with universities abroad.

Students who graduate from the department have the opportunity to work as teachers in private schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education. These students as academic staff in various universities; They can also work as communication specialists, advertisers and designers in public institutions and in the private sector.
