Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University School of Foreign Languages was founded in 2011 within the 2010-2011 academic year, pursuant to the principles set out in the “Regulation on Foreign Language Teaching in Higher Education Institutions and the Principles to be Complied in Foreign Language Teaching” and with the purpose of carrying out all foreign language courses which are compulsory according to the clause (ı) of the article 5 of the Higher Education Law No. 2547 and the vocational foreign language courses offered by the programs of our university.

In the 2016-2017 academic year, the Department of Translation and Interpreting (English) was founded within our school and started to accept students in the same year.
