Together Again After a Short Break, With a Meeting Themed "Languages in Real-Life Setting"
Our English Speaking Club completed its second session of activities. The Speaking Club activities were resumed after the Ramadan Feast and the midterm period. Lecturer Muhammed Harun KAYA from the Department of Translation and Interpreting Studies at our School of Foreign Languages organized the session, which was of great importance for the social cohesion between local and foreign students. During the session, important information on speaking in different environments was shared and then practiced with the club participants. For example, expressions which might be needed in a hospital environment were recorded and analyzed.
