General Information

Histology is the science of tissue. Also known as microscopic anatomy. The main purpose of histology is to examine cells, intercellular substances, tissues morphologically, and to determine the order of all building stages in organs and systems. Embryology is the science of the fetus. It examines the developmental process of the zygote, which occurs as a result of the fertilization of the male reproductive cell sperm into the female reproductive cell oocyte, until birth. Embryology tries to explain morphologically the prenatal changes and development of human in the mother's womb. In the Histology and Embryology Department, theoretical and practical courses will be given within the scope of these sciences.
