As the Department of Medical Biology, our main aim is to carry out educational activities and scientific research in the field of life sciences with the perspective of molecular and genetic basis of diseases, cell biology, molecular biology and genetics. Our Department of Medical Biology aims to develop projects on various subjects, especially in hereditary and metabolic diseases, human genetics and gene therapy, and to become a nationally and internationally accepted center by training the human resources needed in this field.

Our Department was established in 2022 as a subordinate of Basic Medical Sciences and studies are continuing to complete the laboratory and infrastructure facilities. Currently, one assistant profesor doctor is working in our department.
