General Information

The purpose of the Electrical Program; To train qualified personnel to respond to the demands and developments of the sector in subjects such as production, transmission and distribution of electricity, performing factory maintenance and control, working systems of electrical machines and motors, designing electrical facilities, introducing, operating and finding malfunctions of all electrical systems.

The electrical program includes sufficient expansions to meet the needs of technician training in accordance with today's technology. The training program has a structure that can respond to regional and local differences in parallel with developing technologies. This program helps students to make research and development studies and to create their own job opportunities by using entrepreneurship aspects. Undergraduate students studying in advanced societies especially in applied sciences create their own job opportunities after their graduation and become the driving force in the development of their country.   

In the meeting of our program on the date of 02.11.2001 of the General Assembly of Higher Education, the Second Education was opened in accordance with the 7 / d -2 article of the Law numbered 2547 in accordance with the METEB Project. Formal Education was opened in 2011-2012 academic year. Our program trains Electric Technicians. The language of instruction is Turkish.  

This program is subject to 120 ECTS credits associate degree system within the scope of 2-year Vocational School. Students who successfully complete the program by providing their program qualifications are given an Associate Degree in the field of Electrical Technician.

Candidates to be admitted to this program must have a high school or equivalent diploma and have a sufficient score from the Student Selection Exam. A student who has started his / her education in an equivalent program at home or abroad can apply for transfer programs or transfer programs. Registration, examination and evaluation processes of the students are carried out according to the Higher Education Law and the decisions and regulations of the Higher Education Council issued based on this law. Exams are conducted by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). Detailed information about the exams can be accessed from the internet address http://www.osym.gov.tr. Candidates who want to be accepted to our program must have a Basic Proficiency Test (TYT) score of at least 150 or above. Registration and acceptance at Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University is carried out by the Registrar's Office.        

In order to graduate from the program, the student must have completed all the courses in the program and have no F or FD grades. In this program, the student provides a minimum 120 ECTS credits and overall grade average should be at least 2.00 out of 4.00.

         If those who have successfully completed the "Electricity" associate degree program are successful in the Vertical Transfer Examination by ÖSYM; Electrical Engineering, Electrical-Electronic Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electronic and Communication Engineering, Physics, Meteorological Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, Meteorological Engineering, Aircraft Electrical-Electronics, Space Science Technologies and Space Engineering vertical transfer to undergraduate programs.
