Tourism Animation

Program Objective

The aim of the Tourism Animation program is to train qualified personnel who can make these people come back to the business primarily by resting and entertaining customers in the tourism and entertainment industry. Those who want to study in the Tourism Animation program should be people who have a theatrical talent, who are interested in social psychology, can communicate well with people, are very careful and organized, care for their appearance, and are prone to learning a foreign language. Our program tries to provide the best education to its students with its teaching staff. Since our school is in a region visited by local and foreign tourists, our students have the opportunity to be constantly intertwined with the Tourism and Entertainment sector. This environment gives students the opportunity to reinforce their theoretical education in the field of application.

Graduation Requirements

In order to graduate from the program, a student is required to successfully complete the designated program of courses, get minimum 120 ECTS credits in total, achieve a minimum GPA of 2.00/4.00.

Transfer Opportunities

Graduates of the program are required to take the Vertical Transfer Examination from Associate to Undergraduate Degree Programs (DGS) held by the Evaluation, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) in order to transfer to an on-campus or open education undergraduate program. Information on application requirements, programs, quotas, admission procedures, exam, assessment and placement is announced every year in the DGS guide.

Employment Opportunities

Graduates of Tourism Animation program work in tourism companies with the title of "Animator". Animators in businesses belonging to the tourism industry, entertainment industry, kindergarten and elementary schools, municipalities, Public Education Institutions, animation agencies, organization companies, theaters, televisions etc. they have the opportunity to work.
