General Information

The Pharmacy Services Program includes training of intermediate staff trained in the field of health, who have the necessary knowledge to serve in the field of pharmacy.


Pharmacy Services Technician:
It is the healthcare personnel who provide the pharmacist under the supervision of the pharmacist, which ensures that the prescription medicines are prepared and presented correctly, and that the necessary information is given about other medicinal products, keeping the records of the pharmacy and ensuring communication with the patients.


Purpose of the Program:
The purpose of this program is to train an assistant intermediate staff in the field of health, who has the necessary knowledge and equipment, to provide a better quality healthcare service to the society. Within the scope of the program, theoretical and practical acquisition of professional information, teaching the use of up-to-date information and technologies, providing the necessary information about the prescriptions and non-prescription healthcare procedures and the records that should be kept, and providing information about the current system, rational approach to drug use. It includes the use of information and communication technologies that are necessary for exhibiting and doing all of these.


Internship and Job Opportunities:
In order to graduate from this department with the necessary knowledge and equipment, the required internship periods must be completed, and in order to achieve this, our university offers internship opportunities in pharmacies, drug stores and hospitals. Healthcare professionals who graduate from this department can work as trained assistant intermediaries in pharmacies, public and private hospitals, workplaces in various fields, including pharmaceutical warehouses, the medical sector and the pharmaceutical industry. Our students who graduate from this program can complete their undergraduate education by gaining the right to continue Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering as well as Chemical Engineering and Applied Chemistry departments with the vertical transition exam (DGS) organized by ÖSYM.
