Program

Objective

Meat and Products Technology Program trains to meat technicians who are candidates to work in the red and white meat sector. The program also aims to plan and execute jobs such as their preservation, packaging and marketing ,production of meat products such as pastırma, sucuk, sausage, salami and meatball and to disintegration in accordance with conditions and customer requests of meats from poultry and fish together with bovine animals and small cattles.

Graduation

Requirements

In order to obtain a Associate degree from the Meat and Products Technology Program, students must successfully complete all the required and elective courses (120 ECTS in total) in the program and their GPA must be at least 2.0 out of 4.00.

Transfer

Opportunities

If students who successfully complete the Meat and Products Technology Associate Program are successful in the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS) conducted by Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM), their can apply to the relevant departments by using to "The Transition Regulation to the Undergraduate Program for Vocational School Graduates and Open Education Associate Graduates" if the quota is opened in their fields.

Employment

Opportunities

Graduates can work in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Areas, Animal Health Department of Ministry of Forestry, municipal slaughterhouses and enterprises processeded red and white meat, as well as in markets with meat section.
