Overview of Foreign Trade Department:

It is a known fact that the importance of foreign trade is gradually increasing in such a world where borders have disappeared with the effect of globalization. The aim of the foreign trade program is to raise individuals who can meet the needs of qualified intermediate staff of developing countries and to increase the current export potential of their country in order to adapt to these changing world conditions. Our students gain the title of “FOREIGN TRADE MEMBER OF PROFESSİON” upon graduation and have Vertical Transfer Opportunities. They can transit to Eskişehir Anadolu University Economics and Business Undergraduate programs without examination or transit to 4-year undergraduate programs with the DGS (an exam in Turkey to transit 4-years undergraduate programs).

Fields of work:

Graduates of Foreign Trade Program can work in the markets as Assistant Customs Consultant and subsequently as Customs Consultant. With the New Adjustment Law, those working in the customary works must be university graduates and have knowledge of legislation. This makes this profession even more attractive. Students who graduate from this department can also work in private foreign trade companies, public institutions and organizations. Moreover, they can establish their own businesses and increase the export potential of their country.
