Incoming Exchange Students to Ibrahim Cecen University of Ağrı
The Office of International Relations provides the link between a student's home institution and İbrahim Çeçen University of Ağrı from the day of application until the completion of the exchange period.
Most of our programs with European partner institutions are covered under the Erasmus program. The remaining ones are conducted according to bilateral agreements (memorandum of understanding) with the partner institutions. The required documents for application as an Erasmus student to ICUA are as follows:
ACCOMMODATION AND FOOD
Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University offers incoming Erasmus students accommodation facilities free of charge. Based on the number of the incoming students our university will also provide food free of charge for the first ten students.
RESIDENCE PERMIT
Before leaving for Turkey, exchange students should pick up their letter of acceptance from their home institution offices and obtain a multi-entry student visa from the nearest Turkish embassy or consulate.
Upon your arrival you need to apply for a residence permit within 30 days. This will allow you to travel in and out of Turkey without re-applying for the visa.
NEW ARRIVALS
The Office of International Relations is responsible for the registration of all the exchange students upon their arrival. The Office provides a series of orientation sessions and will be your contact for any questions related to visa matters and regulations.
