At the meeting of the General Assembly of Higher Education, on the date of 02.11.2001, Ağrı Vocational School was opened under the scope of METEB Project in accordance with Atatürk University, in accordance with the 7 / d -2 article of the Law No. 2547 with the Law No. 2880. The e-subparagraph of Article 2 of the Circular No. 2542 of the Ministry of the Interior and Annex-73 of the Law No. 5662 of 17.05.2007. The name of our university, which was established as the Rectorate of Ağrı Mountain University, was changed as Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University with the law numbered 5773 and entered into force by being published in the Official Gazette dated 28.06.2008 and numbered 26920.

Our school started education with 225 students in the year it was opened, and in the 2018-2019 academic year, the number of students who are officially enrolled is 2049, and the number of active students has reached 930.

Education and training activities in Ağrı Vocational School are carried out with the support of the faculty members of Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University and 43 academic staff in our college staff. Our school provides its services in its building located in the central campus of Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University.

Our school continues its education with 43 academic staff (7 Doctors, 36 Instructors), 5 administrative staff and 2025 students. The education language of our college is Turkish.

Our college has 19 departments and 36 programs.

There are a total of 22 classrooms in our college, with classrooms capacities ranging from 0-50 to 17 classrooms and capacities from 51 to 75, 2 amplifier classes, 7 laboratories and 3 practice classes.

As of now, we have a total of 930 students in Formal Education and Secondary Education, which continue active education.
