FT-IR Spectrometer
FT-IR spectroscopy is based on the generation of absorbance or transmittance spectra by passing a laser beam through the sample from the infrared (IR) region. In this way, the detection of various functional groups and the peaks of the hereditary fingerprint region are obtained. The spectrum chart is expressed by the number of waves corresponding to absorbance (or % transmittance). In the FT-IR spectrometer device, it can scan in the range of 4000-400 cm-1 in the readings created with the KBr pellet, and 4000-600 cm-1 in the readings performed with the ATR.
