University Executive Board

The University executive board consists of deans and three professors to be elected by the Senate for four years, representing the different teaching units and fields affiliated to the university, under the presidency of the rector. The rector meets with the University executive board when necessary. Vice-rectors may attend board meetings without ballots. Being an auxiliary body to the rector in administrative activities, the members of the University executive board perform the following duties:

·         Assisting the rector in line with the plans and programs determined in the implementation of decisions by senate and higher education institutions,

·         Ensuring the implementation of the activity plans and programs; examining the investment program and the draft budget, taking into account the suggestions of the units affiliated to the university; and presenting it to the Rectorate with its own suggestions,

·         Making decisions on issues to be brought by the rector regarding university administration,

·         Investigating the objections to be made to the decisions of the faculties, institutes and college executive boards, and resolving them,

·         Performing other duties assigned by laws and regulations.
