ADALET TURAN,
Adalet Turan, the founder of Turan Textile Industry
Import and Trade Limited Company, was born in 1967 in Yassıkaya Village,
Taşlıçay, Ağrı. He completed his elementary school in Yassıkaya Village and his
secondary and high school education in Taşlıçay.. Adalet Turan, who left Ağrı
in 1985 and started his career in Istanbul, worked as accounting and finance manager
in an international company between 1985-1988.
He founded Turan Tekstil, a textile garment manufacturing
and export business in Bağcılar district of Istanbul in 1989, and established
knitting facilities in Bağcılar in 1992. This facility has become one of theTurkey's
leading integrated facilities by gathering knitting, dyeing, arpe and
confection sectors under one roof. He completed his university education at
Faculty of Economics, Azerbaijan University between 2003-2008. In 2003, he
founded the paint manufacturing facility in Velimeşe in Çorlu district of
Tekirdağ.
Adalet Turan is a board member of the Istanbul Textile
and Apparel Exporters' Association (ITKIB), Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials
Exporters Association (ITHIB) and Florya Businessmen Association (FIADER). He
is married and has 4 children. He knows English, German and Italian.
